jean pick of the week

sorry my jean weekly review is more like every fiscal quarter. here are the ones i have been thinking about when i think about jeans. they are white. which i think are fun for summer. and i dont have any white jeans but i wish i did. i would wear them like they were dress pants. to picnics and on first dates or to the drive in. maybe to a first date at a drive in. anyway, i am a sucker for the twisted seam. so that is why i like these ones. but if you have a problem with wearing jeans featured in every other hip hop song about men buying women jeans for sexual favors then you might want to stay away from this brand.

jean mystery

i am the proud owner of these boyfriend jordache jeans. the last couple of days i have really pushed myself to understand what boyfriend jeans means. i finally realized that boyfriend fit means that they fit looser in the leg (not in the ass dont worry). apparently i could have googled that and saved myself a lot of thought on the subject. i am a pretty big fan of really tight jeans so i am really glad that i am pushing myself jean wise to wear ones that i am more unsure of. i am kind of sad that boyfriend jeans doesnt refer to the growing trend of men wearing jeans designed for women. that is what i hoped it meant for the first day but i knew that would be too good to be true. so in case anyone else was confused on the matter its yet another jean mystery solved.

wrangler butts drive me nuts

i love wranglers. they really are great jeans. in fact they rank in my all time favorite jeans (i ranked my top five favorite jeans tonight with my sexually ambiguous friend with rad hair that sold me the wranglers. he owns those smokey hudsons in womens. i am pretty jealous). i knew given enough time and prayers on my part that i would finally find my very own wranglers.

i began searching for wranglers that would met my jean needs early in 2002. my patience has finally paid off. i hear wranglers are gaining some recognition in europe although that hot austrian engineering phd student that sat next to me on a flight home from dc couldnt verify if wranglers were in austria (he was too busy being super smart).

anyway if anyone else is in the market there is the cutest mini skirt that maybe i have ever seen. ever. and some great cords in red. all great wrangler choices.

merry christmas my mom doesnt know who i am

my mother told me for christmas this year that she didnt know me (in that she couldnt think of anything i like). specifically, after 28 years she doesnt know what i like to eat and/or do. she realized her lack of knowledge regarding me (her only daughter) while trying to find me presents for my stocking (there is no santa).

i dont think the eating thing is that hard. i like to drink diet coke and ham.

and does she not know about how i like jeans? and for christmas i think she should have tried to stuff my stocking with a pair of jordache jeans. i am pretty excited that jordache is attempting a comeback (with fairly reasonable prices ranging from 30-150 american dollars).

jordache jeans have been around since 1978 (which was the year i was born...maybe i should remind my mom) and were some of (if not the first) designer jeans. anyway, why i think jordache jeans have a special place in my heart is because they started the tight jean trend marketed for both men and women (didnt go over as well for men). i like jordache jeans so much more than contempories such as calvin klein (they WILL make your ass look bad) and Guess? (guess what they suck) and i do not support their comebacks.

anyway, i wrote down a pretty comprehensive list of my likes, dislikes and allergies for my mother. she is going to be pretty excited that pollen doesnt really affect me anymore.

jean pick of the week

we all know my materialistic self manifests itself in the form of denim. and these are my new favorite ones. they are they best hudsons because they are smokey. (i think smokey is one of the most versatile colors in denim but i have been told i am wrong on this) and i like them significantly more than the new smokey citizens which i cant find online for everyone to compare so you will just have to trust me that they are way better (although rose said she likes them just as well). i also like that hudsons are not carried at nordstrom anymore so we can all feel great about buying some. so if anyone is in the market for jeans with the british flag on the ass, i think these are the ones for you.
